Chuck E. Cheese’s has released a statement where they unequivocally deny claims that the children’s entertainment arcade and restaurant reheats and serves leftover pizza after a video by YouTuber Shane Dawson went viral. On February 13, 2019, Chuck E. Cheese’s released a photo of their pizza on Instagram and Twitter showing the pie in a perfectly symmetrical circle. After they posted the photos, they spent a great deal of time responding to consumers who accused them of making perfect pizzas for social media but not for their customers.
Shane Dawson reiterated throughout the day that it was an unproven theory and not fact, but it appears many people have come to their own conclusions on the matter. Many consumers weren’t in agreement with Chuck E. Cheese’s reasons for the misshapen piazzas.
Here is the statement released by a spokesperson for Chuck E. Cheese’s.
“The claims made in this video about Chuck E. Cheese’s and our pizza are unequivocally false. No conspiracies here – our pizzas are made to order and we prepare our dough fresh in restaurant, which means that they’re not always perfectly uniform in shape, but always delicious.”
Here is the tweet by Chuck E. Cheese’s that shows a perfect circular pizza pie being served.

Chuck E. Cheese’s shared the above tweet as a promotion for Valentine’s Day, but they did not receive a positive response.
Upset customers questioned why the pizza in the photo was perfectly round when other pictures found on social media and those included in Shane Dawson’s viral video weren’t.
Chuck E. Cheese’s did their best to keep up with the comments and provide an explanation.
When someone tweeted that they made fresh pizza only for advertisement, Chuck E. Cheese responded that they make fresh pizza for everyone.
Another person said they needed answers. Chuck E. Cheese responded with the following explanation.
“Sometimes when we slide our pizzas from the hot pan to the cool serving tray, some slices stick a bit. But no worries, a misaligned pizza is still a delicious pizza.”
Chuck E. Cheese offered a second explanation that didn’t seem to convince those on social media that the conspiracy theory was false.
We take the pizzas straight from the oven, slice it up, and slide it on to a serving tray, where each piece jostles to be the first one eaten.

The replies accused the company with the original allegation that the pizzas were recycled.
