For me, Thanksgiving has been a shape-shifting event. Each year there are different people and morphing traditions. Because of this, I've been exposed to different kinds of verbal traditions that have always inspired me to catalogue my own. Every time I hear a new toast or a new gratitude prompt, I try to remind myself to go home and research a few finds of my own, but I always forget.

This year, I decided ensure sometime for a little bit of research to find a few toasts to try out.
